Cycle Training West Midlands (CTWM) is one of the UK's foremost cycle instructor training providers. Since 2006 we've trained instructors working for local authorities in Birmingham, Sandwell, Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Cardiff - to name but a few.

CTWM is a formal partnership between the metropolitan authorities of Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Wolverhampton and informal partnerships with Staffordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Bradford, Leeds and School Sports Partnerships throughout the U.K. We work closely with the Fire and Police Service in the West Midlands. 

CTWM is run by local government road safety professionals specifically to provide cycle instructor training for local authorities and government organisations across the UK.

Our training is based on the experience and knowledge of training thousands of adults and children from the West Midlands area.

Our four-day Instructor Training Course is designed to meet and exceed the Bikeability National Standards for cycle training, and is delivered by passionate and competent Instructors.  

At Cycle Training West Midlands we continually strive to improve our offering by developing additional courses, including first aid courses, special educational needs, cycle maintenance and much more. Ultimately we aim to provide instructors with the skills they need to be able to offer cycle training to everyone.

All courses are delivered by experienced instructors and are designed to provide trainees with sound knowledge of the subjects.
