NOCN Bicycle Maintenance
Level 1

Overview
Level 1 maintenance training provides bike assessment & adjustment for instructors and cycle activity leaders and meets National Standard Cycle Instructor maintenance criteria. On completion of Level 1 instructors may wish to progress onto Level 2. This is an advanced maintenance course for instructors involved in Dr Bike / Cycle repairs.
Content
Level 1 learning outcomes
1) Understand the safe and appropriate use of tools and equipment.
2) Know how to disassemble and reassemble bicycle parts.
3) Know how to mend a puncture.
4) Know how to employ basic principles of bicycle safety and roadworthiness.
5) Know how to fit appropiate cycle to client.

Costs
£120 per delegate. Includes workbooks, OCN accreditation fee, certification.
Refreshments will be provided but delegates are advised to bring their own packed lunch.
